About the Journal
Tahiti is an academic open access journal by The Society of Art History in Finland that has been published since 2011. The journal, which is issued online 2–4 times a year, publishes peer-reviewed articles and other articles about topics related to art history. The theme issues are also done in cooperation with guest editors.
Tahiti mainly publishes articles in Finnish and Swedish. The articles in theme issues can also be published in English. The journal has the JUFO classification (level 1) of scientific publications. The articles are also available on international open access databases, such as EBSCO and DOAJ.
The journal has received a government grant from Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture that the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies allocates for scientific publications.
